About this Website
This website has a solid core structure, and many sections are still growing step by step. I build it as a hobby and expand it continuously at my own pace. In recent months I have worked more with AI support, with a clear focus on authentic content instead of generic output.
The core material comes from my own Karate experience. I am not a professional editor, and I improve this project through practice. You will find here a growing Karate wiki: fundamentals, philosophy, techniques, training topics, and practical reference content. If you would like to report something, add something, or contribute, you can contact me using the contact information in the imprint.
I have no intention of infringing anyone's rights. If any illustration is considered problematic by the rights holder, I will review it immediately and remove or adjust it without delay upon request.
I started Karate in 2014 at Karate-Dō Porrentruy and trained regularly – up to four times a week. After four years of dedicated practice, I earned my 1st Dan in 2018. Since then, Karate has become an anchor for me – a flame worth keeping alive, both through this website and through training in the dojo.
The path was not always smooth. Several moves meant leaving behind my dojo and training partners each time. I could not stay in the same club, and my Karate training lost momentum over the years. Personal difficulties added to the interruptions. Between 2020 and 2026 I was not training as often as I would have liked. But I kept at it – that connection never fully broke.
Professionally I never quite found solid ground either – there is a lot of uncertainty there, and with regard to my health as well. But that is precisely why this website means so much to me. It is something I can always come back to, something I can build piece by piece, at my own pace.
This website is my declaration of passion for Karate. I hope it becomes something beautiful and interesting for anyone who shares this passion. Whatever the future holds – this project grows with me.
