For a beginner, one must have the ability and willingness to develop their senses, muscles, coordination, flexibility, and mind. Even someone who is missing a limb can become a skilled karateka.
For a skilled or even high-level karateka, they still need the same abilities as a beginner. However, they have significantly superior coordination and physical skills than people of the same age who do not practice karate.
Health
A person who practices karate has better health. Also, after training, one feels good and exhausted. By seriously practicing karate, one's physical fitness is at a good level.
The risk of respiratory or cardiovascular disease is significantly reduced. It has been scientifically proven that the risk of cancer is reduced by practicing karate.
There is even a style of karate that has been developed to support cancer recovery and has been quite successful.
